Auckland needs the following junk/snack foods available throughout the land. Affordable and available. Make it happen Wayne!

**Cheese rolls** \- Cheese scones suck and we should be ashamed — dry, crumbly, depressing. Cheese rolls are certifiably better in every possible way. If you think about which cheese based product will cheer you up, it'll be the roll; not the scone. If South Island independence re-emerges, this should be their new national flag.

**Sushi rolls** \- Australia got this one right. This is absolutely the best way to consume these damn things. $8.50 sushi of the day sucks shit by comparison.

**Onigiri** \- Triangle sushi is delicious. Nutritious. Healthy. As a ready food, it really meets all the things that a snack like it should deserve (this tweet is a meme but the 7-Eleven onigiri were good while I was in Melbourne).

**Poutine** \- Chips, cheese, gravy. What more could you want from life.

But this Canadian delight is sadly missing from Auckland's shores. Fed Deli does a passable imitation with blergh fries and no squeaky cheese. You genuinely cannot find good poutine in this damn city.

**Late-night bread shops** \- Hataitai Hot Bread Shop is a model that should be replicated across New Zealand and the world. It's a tragedy this isn't more common.
