Cool stuff I bought recently
Justin needs to stop buying useless stuff.
The antidepressants are making him be nicer to himself and now he's buying himself all this stuff. That's not a good thing. Bank account is getting very mad at him. He needs to learn how to balance being nice to himself and also being responsible.

Okay shut the fuck up, stop writing in third person. shudddddup
It's show and tell time and, oh no, you're held hostage in this room with me. Why can't you leave? Unsure. This metaphor gave up where that full stop was.
Look at all the stuff I bought!
Pebble Time 2 - arriving March
Look, I already own an Apple Watch. I'm a weirdo who likes smartwatches, but I don't. I hate smartwatches. I don't want it to buzz all the time. I don't want a keyboard. I don't want wrist computer. I want step counter, heart alive track, notifications and a cool thing to check the time on. Maybe I should just buy a cool ass Casio...

Anyways. I have a $400 pre-order down for the NEW Pebble. This is an all time great I gotta say. They got the smartwatch right 10 years ago and ever since then they have been producing... shit. We can’t, we don’t know how to do it
iPhone 17 - arrived!
I needed a new phone. This one is too big. Sigh.

At least the battery is good. And I love da green.
Content Goblings - arriving tomorrow
"Content Goblins, an anthology of stories about “content” and the people who “make” it. In very Verge fashion, we are meeting the moment where the internet has been overrun by AI garbage by publishing a beautifully designed, limited edition print product.
"Content Goblins collects some of our best stories over the past couple years, capturing the cynical push for the world’s great art and journalism to be reduced into units that can be packaged, distributed, and consumed on the internet. Consider Content Goblins as our resistance to that movement. With terrific new art and photography, we’re making the case that great reporting is vital and enduring — and worth paying for." -- The Verge

"The Verge’s limited-edition anthology of stories about “content” and the people who make it. Disguised as The Verge Guide to SEO, pull back the cover to find a curated collection of Verge features, commentary, art, and photography".
Clicks Power Keyboard - arriving... late 2026??
More products need the word POWER in it. Again: We can’t, we don’t know how to do it anymore. Phones should be primarily oriented around doing stuff. The iPhone was a true gift to those who produce "content" because it's easier to get distracted.
I want something that tells my brain it's productivity time on the phone. Will it be too heavy? Will it be extremely unwieldy? Probably! But I believe.

Pebble Index 01 - arriving March 2026??
I often have voice memos I need to take. I do not like opening my phone and taking those memos. This device will allegedly fix this problem.
The Pebble Index 01 has a microphone, a button, and a bluetooth chip, and that's all. When you hit the button, it records a voice memo. Then once you're done, it transmits it to your phone. Then it transcribes and you have a nice voice memo waiting for you.
King of shower thoughts but high on the scale of intolerable smart wearable bullshit.

Lokyi and Samyi - arriving next month
"L&S is a children’s book series that celebrates togetherness through adventures in Aotearoa
"At the bustling Lantern Festival, a dragon lantern is missing, Lokyi and Samyi are missing, and many are missing home. L&S is a children’s picture book series that celebrates family, culture and belonging through the joyful adventures of two siblings in Aotearoa."
