Two of my favourite shows are FX's You're The Worst and Channel 4's Peep Show (Fresh Meat, from the creators of Peep Show, was also good).
They're both comedies.
But probably more importantly, they're both based on terrible people. I'd love to know what makes people like me enjoy watching fictional terrible people and enjoy their company on screen. I'm sure there'd be weird psychology behind it.
